Listing your hub on Direct Connect hublists

A new hub is empty until people can find it. Public hublists are the main way users discover hubs, so listing yours is how you get visitors.

How hublists work

A hublist is a directory that DC clients load. Your hub gets onto a list either by registering it with the hublist, or by having your hub announce itself to the list (many hub programs can ping a hublist automatically). Once listed, your hub shows up with its name, description, address, user count, and any share requirement.

To list your hub, pick one or more hublists (such as DCHublist), follow their submission or registration steps, and make sure your hub is reachable so the list can verify it.

Known hublists

This is the other side of Finding & joining hubs. For help and feedback from other operators, the forum is a good place to start.
